Meet our Coaches for the 2018 Season!

Head Coach

We are excited to have Coach Jack back as our Head Coach in 2017.

Jack is 19 years old and just completed his freshman year at Georgetown University in Washington DC. He plans to major in Pre-Med studies. Jack grew up swimming for SwimMac Carolina for eight years, as well as his high school, Charlotte Latin for four. In additional to pool swimming, he has competed twice in the national championships for triathlon, earning All-American status on both occasions. While he has 3 years of assistant coaching experience under his belt, this is his second year as head coach of the Lawson Sailfish.

Hi, my name is Lauren Cruise. I am very excited to be a part of the Lawson Swim Team Staff. I’m very humbled and excited to come along side you to help increase your swimmers love for the water.

I am in the 10th grade at Metrolina Christian Academy and will be starting my Junior Year there this Fall. I’ve been on a school swim team both in Texas and at Metrolina for a total of 5 years. I am certified in AED, CPR, lifeguarding, and swim lesson instructing through the Red Cross. I’ve been a swim lesson instructor for 1 year and have loved it. I love coming along side swimmers and their families to encourage them and show them that they CAN DO IT, no matter their age. I believe all children are capable of whatever they set their mind to, and that’s my goal for this year as an Assistant Coach. I want to encourage them in whatever swimming goals they have.

I’m looking forward to a great swim season! 🙂
